TJMS Spelling Bee

TJMS held a spelling bee containing many rounds. The first round consists of just a class bee, then one student would be chosen to be a representative for their entire team for the school bee.
Now I would like to introduce the winners of each team. In 6th grade, the winner on team Marvel was Paul Veeramasu, the winner on team Catalyst was Layla Burgan, and the winner on team Apex was Hasan Siddiqui. In 7th grade, the winner on team Legend was Siddharth Rajasekana Kannan, the winner on team Quest was Natalie McDaniels, and the winner on team Visionaries was Iris Tobese. In 8th grade, the winner on team Matrix was Paisley Mahon, the winner on team Prestige was Muizza Hyder, and the winner on team Synergy was Alania Sita. I would also like to give a shoutout to the school wide spelling bee winner of 2024, and returning representative! Maggie Hayton!
Everyone went against each other in the school spelling bee. Everyone did an amazing job, but sadly there could only be one winner. And that student was…Layla Burgan! Layla will now go to regionals, and if she wins, she will then go to Nationals.
